win the office fantasy baseball league

after a brief stint in second place, i dropped to third again thanks to a weak offensive performance last night. multiple homers but they were all solo shots.

my starting pitching remains dominant though, which was part of the plan. i have the two best starters in baseball (excluding grienke since he is al) and a roster of three high caliber number 2 starters

i am in third place moving into the start of may. not bad, but i was this high once before. the trick for me is to not chase saves and make bad decisions trying to move up in this category.

i have the starting pitching staff i need to dominate the strikeout category and compete for whip and era.

feeling good about the team right now.

i just need jay bruce and geovany soto to start hitting like i know they can.

....for finishing in the top half of the league. i am doing well so far. in fifth and in shooting distance of the top, but as always, they don’t give out trophies in april
