follow my heart

My heart tells me to enjoy learning more about music. Sometimes I think about learning how to play the banjo and going to my ex boyfriend’s house and sitting underneath his window playing that damn thing until he comes out and admits that he loves me. But just for today I’m going to stick with the instrument I actually have to work with. My voice and my Mom’s guitar.

not lust dear

me I love someone who isn’t available. Common sense and my head tell me to let go then and move on. I even told him I was going to move on, but my heart isn’t moving on. I keep meeting potential people to move onto and my heart just isn’t following only my head. The person who came up with this saying should have put in a clause about stalking. “legally follow your heart” That’s what I’m doing. You can’t always follow your heart. In some cases that just turns out to be stalking. Stalking is against the law. I refuse to stalk people dating other people! His heart must have told him something else or we wouldn’t be at this silent juncture. my heart has these safety rules that say “follow your heart if you see both of your hearts moving in the same direction. Do not stalk the one you love unless he wants to be stalked and doesn’t turn you in.”
