well i’ve made a decisive conclusion about this goal; it’s not an immediate one. i need some time in the working world to reevaluate exactly what i want to research for a phd, and then i have to really, really like that. and know that for a period of three to five years, my life will be devoted to ONE thing. THAT.

as hard as that realisation is, i’m glad that i know that i don’t want to do a phd just yet. better than getting there and being two years into it and making that decision.

I just got accepted for the MA in Modern literature programme at the University of Warwick in England starting in October. It’s one step in the right direction, and it looks like i’m leaving this nyc metropolis very soon…
