learn to dance

....a place in Fort Worth that gives beginner dance lessons (waltz) every Wednesday and it only costs $3 a lesson (that is cheap) – i am gona see if i can get a friend to do it with me – wahoo maybe i will actually be able to mark this off soon.

It was really fun – a group of my friends and i were walking around down town dallas and we stopped in a courtyard in front of the very tall JP Morgan Chase building – it is so neat there they play classical music all the time – and my friend just came by grabbed my hand and showed me some dance moves – some sort of ballroom dancing although not sure which kind – it was very fun but i really dont remember how to do any of it – gona really have to take some classes for that – and then i can take someone special down there and dance – that would be really nice- all in all it was a great experience – i felt like i was in a movie—this pic is one of us dancin there lol it was like we put on a show :)

So I experienced my first real dance party tonight! It was so much fun – i have decided I LOVE TO DANCE!! it was my friends bday and we turned a garage into a dance floor and danced the night away – we danced to everything it seems but i think my favorite was the 70’s music very fun! and for new years i am going to a 70’s themed ball so i am gona keep practicing and blow em all away! :D i have also discovered that it doenst really matter if i know how to do every move or even if i look good as much as just throwing it all out there and having fun!

I think one of the most romantic things two people in love can do is dance - and then it is also something fun to do with friends as well. Something that spans so many lifetimes and earas is remarkable to me and I long to be apart of it all. I have participated in several other types of dance and have enjoyed them all such as jazz,lyrical, ballet, hip hop, swing, and salsa - but still I do believe my favorite type would be ballroom. One of these days (when I get the time and money) I will definitely take ballroom dance classes.
