Get a job I enjoy and keep it

I received a call back from Public Allies and my interview is May 6th. I am very excited, but also nervous about the prospect of putting my children into someone else’s care. Wish me luck!

I want a job, but life is so hectic right now. I stay home with my two kids and my fiancee has horrible hours. He’s a driver for FedEx Freight, but with the economy, he is only able to work the dock which is a split shift. 5:00 am to 9:00 am. then back to work from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. So this cuts out my ability to work nights part time. I am also having trouble finding a typical 9 to 5 because the job market is so flooded right now. I am filling out an application for Public Allies, so wish me luck and if they have one in your area, check it out. Seems worthwhile and is a good way to get a little extra money for school.
