I decided to read Julius Caesar next. I really liked this one. Shakespeare is really great at capturing human emotion, and he does it wonderfully here. The betrayal that Caesar felt towards his friend felt more real here in print than in most of the movies that I have seen.

I read “The Tempest” a few weeks ago, and developed a newfound appreciation for William Shakespeare. I wasn’t too interested in his plays when I was assigned to read them in high school, but now that I have begun reading for pleasure, I thought that I would read his plays with an open perspective.
