This goal now seems to be ineveitable especially if the genetic counselor wil tell us that our next child might have a high probability of aquiring SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy)from us again. I dont want my next baby to suffer too. Adoption is surely a blessing to parents.

Childhood Dream 4 years ago

Ever since I was a kid i have wanted to adopt a child when i grow up. Right now though this goal is not in my priority list, meaning it wont happen in a year or two, since I am expectant with my first baby (baby boy, 32 weeks). My husband has long known my desire to adopt a child and he says that it’s ok with him. But I plan to wait for the right time and I want it to be more than Ok with him. I am excited to be a mom and I hope to be a good mom to my kids, biological or adopted…
