1 gallon= 3.79 L= 128 ounces
Once upon a time I was a track runner with an excercise/practice regiment, incredible water intake and diet fit for champions…Well now in my mid twenties I may walk up and down the stairs a couple of times, drink a couple cups of anything, and I eat fast food at least 3 times a week. Alot of things have changed..so since life is all about change I decieded that hey I am going to “get back in it” aka take care of myself like great human beings do!
All the signs are there: joint pain, every day I come across something thats about rehabiliating health, and hearing that cancer runs in my family in many forms.
So…I have increased my intake to 3 bottles (1.5L) of water a day, not much but a start. My 90 day plan begining 15 of Sept. includes going from 1.5-2.0-2.5-3.0 liters of water/healthy fluides per day. The gallon gives me something to reach towards because hey lets face it if I say just drink more water I’ve improved 10 fold over last month and I still am not @ daily recommended value…
What’s healthy? well it depends on your body. Some say 8 glasses a day, for alot of women it’s 2.5 liters or 83 ounces. A little over a 1/2 a gallon.
A cool quiz to take that determines how much water you should have per day:
