Until I got cancer. You have to be cancer free for 5 yrs before you can donate again. I’m on yr 2…almost half way there. This has always been so important to me especially because some of the benefits from donated blood include the rogam shot I received because of my blood type compared to my husbands when I was giving birth to my 2 sons. If it weren’t for that, I would have bled to death at childbirth and my second son would have never been born. Thanks to all donors.!
