I now own three Lamy Safari fountain pens. I bought a medium point (they come with blue ink cartridges) and felt it was too coarse for day-to-day writing, so I bought a Extra Fine point and, for fun, a 1.1 italic tip. (Swisher Pens was great to work with.) The 10 black ink cartridges I added to the order should last me awhile.
Fountain pens are neat. I can see why folks collect them. The ink is just waiting to flow out onto the paper—you don’t have to drag it out like you do with a ballpoint. Hard to explain the difference.
I also am working through Write Now: The Complete Program For Better Handwriting and it seems simple and quick. We’ll see what the results are . . .
