I’ve been very lax and sporadic about exercise in the last couple of months, which pretty much coincides with recently feeling flabby and generally like crap.
I’m going to do an experiment: I’m going to do my short routine every morning for the next week, and see how I feel. I’m hoping I will start to feel so great, I’ll be motivated to step up the routine.

I am back up ten lbs. from where I was a year ago. I’m still down 15 from my max, but I want that number to keep getting lower, not bob up and down….
I was actually quite active last week; bowling, walking, and dancing, tennis and walking the week before that. I’m hoping with the days getting warmer, I will keep up that good habit.
Spring cleaning might help too. I’ll get right on that. :)
Really, really need to get rid of that 10. Planning a trip to Florida in July.
Went walking downtown through the Paseo and hung out in one of the art studios there. We met an artist, a cool middle-aged lady who paints New Mexican landscapes in rich earthtones. She talked quite a bit with my daughters, who are also artists.
The area is really neat, with outdoor sculpture and colorful lights and decorated trees. After awhile it started raining so we left.
with my baby. It was a beautiful day; we walked about 2 miles. I didn’t even feel tired, but my feet hurt a little. I need some better walking shoes.
My weight hasn’t changed since my dr. appointment a month ago, so I guess I actually need to get off my butt and actually burn some actual colories!
When I spend 3 hours a day on the computer, and another 3 hours a day watching tv. For instance, last night I heartily enjoyed about 8 double stuff Oreos while watching American Idol.
If I’m being good, I “work out” about 15 minutes a day. And I shouldn’t call it working out because it’s just some gentle yoga-like back exercises.
