So, going to work one day, I bent down to open the door and heard this terrible rips. My pants had gone down. I wanted to save them because they were my favorite jeans! I also wanted to try weaving in my scarves because I like the look that I’ve seen in store made scarves like that.
So yay for my new jean scarf!
Man, I love scarves. They’re really versitile in how you can make them. I just started another one for myself because I had to use this horrid yarn to make a stuffed dog for a customer and I deserved to be treated to some nice yarn. I’m going to put a strip of denim in this one because I recently ripped a huge hole in my favorite jeans and I want to keep them somehow.
A Florida State colors scarf that I made for a friend. It’s hard to do Garnet and Gold anymore and not have it be a Harry Potter scarf.
This one was made stitching in the front loop only. I like the professional quality it gets when you do this.
Giant hook, 5 strands of yarn, I love it! Very holey, but surprisingly warm.
considering I live in Florida and own upwards of 25 homemade scarves now. Oh well, I feel accomplished doing it. I remember my first one and how proud I was of it. Now I mostly just make stuffed animals, but I really should get back into scarves. There just so much more you can do with them. And it’s sort of getting cold here anyway.
