So I’ve incorporated swimming into my routine the past 4 or so weeks. Usually twice a week, but this week only once. The bad thing of swimming seems to be that my running stamina has went down. Not really sure why that is. Instead of jogging for an hour just doing 30 minutes wears me down. I think at least for a couple weeks I may cut down swimming so I can increase my jogging stamina again. I’m feeling a lot better none the less and I can physically tell a difference in my appearance from when I started so at least I’m on the right track. I just need to make more time to work out everyday. Right now I’m averaging about 3 off days because I just don’t have time to do something everyday. I’m working on changing that though. As long as I do something tomorrow I’ve only had two off days. It’s a start.

Yesterday I wasn’t able to go to the gym and today it’s closed. I really would love to go work out today so I guess I’m stuck at home possibly running and doing a few workout videos from sparkpeople. I need to eat better today because i ate so horribly yesterday. Since the gyms closed I also can’t give an update on my weight since I have decided to only use the gym’s scale to measure my weight lose. That way I stay accurate. I’m still on track though because I did work out everyday this week excluding monday and I’ve been eating healthy everyday.
Well today was awesome for working out. Instead of running coach made us do an advanced tyboo video for about 30 minutes which was killer for my first time. Then after I lifted for an hour and add to that a 15 minute ab workout and my day was complete. I’ve drank right around 3/4 of a gallon of water and have watched what I have ate also. Tomorrow is softball drills and swimming day and I can’t wait. I think before hand I may do some running drills since we didn’t today.
Yesterday I started my softball workout and it went great. I worked out in the weight room for about 30 minutes, a few sprints with crunches, and then swam for about 30 minutes. We worked out in the weight room today just because our coach was sick. When he gets better that will be replaced with throwing, hitting, and running plus my swimming. I’m semisore today, but I have weights again which will be good for me. My new weekly routine for softball will roughly be:
Monday/Wednesday- conditioning, running, swimming
Tuesday/Thursday- weightlifting
We have the weekend plus friday off so when I can manage it around work I’m going to go hiking on at least one of those days and then work on my goal to jog for an hour, starting out slowly and working my way up. The only problem will be conquering the cold, but that is what under armor was made for. Hopefully I’ll be able to get past this stumbling block and finally get closer to my goal. Good luck to everyone else on your goals. If you have any ideas about good exercises or eating tips or just feel like talking, comments would be greatly appreciated.
