So yesterday I went shopping and I bought two outfits that were size 11s! I haven’t been able to fit into an 11 since I was in middle school so this was a very exciting progression for me. I could also techniquely mark this goal off my list today since I am under 171, but I want to wait to make sure its just not a flunctation in the scale.

Exercise wise I marked off my jog for 30 minutes goal the other day and am currently doing the workouts I’m coaching with the team MWF mornings. So far thats been jog 4 min, sprint 1 min, walk 2 min, and repeat 4 times. Afterwards 6 different types of crunches with different reps. I do this twice since I have two groups. Tuesday and Saturday are going to be my off days from running, but since I took off this weekend I will probably run tomorrow to make up for that.

Nutrition wise I’m doing a lot better. Buying only healthy foods and spreading them throughout the day. An example meal schedule for mwf is 6:15 fruit cup before workouts / 7:45 half 100 cal pack of almonds / 8:30 half bagel with lite cream cheese / 12:30 soup or grilled chicken tenders / 6:30 Grilled chicken breast w/potatoes or rice. I also would like to start preparing my meals in advance for the week so if anyone knows of recipes that refrigerate well please feel free to comment. Goodluck to everyone. Since may I’ve went down from 186 to 175. I weighed in today to check on my progress and I’m down to 173 although that is not my official weigh in for the week. This coming Monday is my official weigh in. For me to be able to mark off 15 pounds I have to get below 171. After that I can continue on to marking off lose 20 pounds hopefully. My idea behind this wasn’t to do each goal separately but to let them build up to eachother. I have to admit that has definitely helped to keep me motivated even though I fell off the wagon when I started dating my ex last august. Now I’m with a new guy who likes to stay in very good shape so eating healthier is no problem.

I know I have gained some of the weight I had lost back these past couple of weeks because of bad eating habits since I’ve been back from Italy. I’ll do a weigh in tomorrow to see just how much. I’m pretty sure I’m still under 173 though which is good and I’m going to start eating better as soon as a wake up so I can jump start being healthy again.

I’ve been doing better here lately when it comes to my dieting and exercise. I could definitely be doing more exercise though because all I really rely on is practice for it. Eating healthy hasn’t been the easiest, but I’m reteaching myself what I need to look for in food. Fast food has been cut down and at resturants I look for healthier choices such as chicken or the weightwatcher options. Water has became a huge part of my day and besides a few juices or a 12 ounce bottle of diet coke it’s what I rely on. I’m hoping to meet this goal soon and continue on to my next goal of losing 10 pounds. I’m doing a continuous step up program until I reach my ultimate goal of 20 pounds. I’m not really focused on losing weight, but instead losing fat. I want to have a lower percentage of body fat and lose this belly once and for all.
