Too tired 3 years ago

for yoga this morning. I had some screwed up nightmares last night which resulted in little sleep, so I reset my alarm for 7 instead of 6 at about 430 am. Ugh.

I just didn’t have the time this morning.

I am suffering the consequences, though. My body is begging for it. Maybe I’ll try to get an hour in after work…

to do my 5 navasanas this morning, which was exciting.

Yoga again this morning at six. I’m so sore from it today for some reason, I’m really feeling it in my abs.

As much as I want to stay in bed when my alarm goes off at six, especially since I know I don’t have to get up, I’m proud of myself for forcing my body up and out to the living room to stretch.

I started my new routine… getting up at 6am for yoga first thing. It was hard, as I am used to doing yoga sporadically in the evenings, when my body is already limbered up. Trying to get into some of those poses before I’ve even showered is challenging, but I think it will be better for me in the long run. This way I can guaratee myself one free hour just for yoga every day.

I listened to Jack Johnson and lit candles and really listened to my breathing. It was wonderful and I can’t wait for tomorrow morning!

My aunt is a yoga teacher and during her training I did yoga with her for at least an hour and a half every day. It was amazing. I felt incredible, and long to feel that way again.

I think I’ll have to start getting up early and doing it first thing in the morning, because I never seem to have time after work.
