become a pokemon master

All I need now are Mew, Ho-oh, Celebi, and Deoxys.

For this generation, anyway.

Through some trades and some creative… work… I’m 8 away from my unreachable goal. The Pokemon I still need are:

Ekans
Arbok
Electabuzz
Mew
Elekid
Ho-oh
Celebi
Deoxys

If I trade around, I can get four of those. That’s what I hope to do. But for now… I have done what I can, and I am done with devoting an active effort to this goal.

I’ve started carrying a purse for the express purpose of toting my gameboy. And instead of carrying around Golden Sun, I started taking Pokemon with me.

Maybe now I’ll make some progress.

Well, I haven’t worked on Pokemon Green in a few days. But I got Smash Bros and I’m quickly becoming a Pokemon master in that. I earned Jigglypuff and Mewtwo, and I’m working on Pichu. Mewtwo’s my favorite character to play as; I just earned him this morning.

I got Meganium on the wayt to the dentist’s today. I was playing Pokemon. All the FAQs I read said that Bayleef evolved at L35.

I hit 32 in Berry Forest, and BAM. I have a Meganium

Next up is Rhyhorn. That’s gonna be tough. Why? Becuase the stupid thing doesn’t learn any rock or ground type moves. I’m gonna try using him at Cinnibar Mansion, where he has a resistance to most of the types used. He’s only like L29 too ;.;

I just got Weezing. I was gonna try to do Meganium first but then it was like eff it. So after piggybacking Sancho the Koffing on my LG team for goodness knows how long, I took him down to Pallet Town and kicked some Tangela butt.

I have 18 Pokemon left. Of those.. I can realistically expect to catch 4 without any help. Here’s the list. r means I need someone with FireRed to hook me up, and x means that I need to get to a Nintendo event or do something insane to get it.

I’m not sure if I should give up after I finish what I can do by myself, or if I should give up and mark this done after I get the FR Stuff. I mean, I don’t know HOW I’ll get the FR stuff. My cousins no longer have access.

Crap.

I’m at 367; I got Typhlosion tonight. I’m wondering how I should define “Pokemon master.” Given that I got to 151 (with cheats) on Red and 250 (with a few RBY Pokemon I cheated for) on Silver, I’m going to say that masterdom is 381—the maximum I can get without being involved in a Nintendo promotion. To do that, I have to evolve six Pokemon I have, trade four from a Fire Red Player, breed two of those, evolve two of those, and then get five promotional Pokemon.

I might have a shot at one of those promos through Colosseum.

This sucks.
