I would appreciate any advice or tips on this one.
I have lots of photographs, some from my husband’s late mother, some from our lives before we met and lots from when our kids were small. After that it kind of tailed off, then we got a digital camera and those pics are also disorganized!
I started out destroying any photos of the past 12 years or so that were substandard (doubles of photos, such as when someone takes about ten of your child smiling and showing a present they just opened, identical except for one or two being that bit more special etc) and putting them all into chronological order. I ended up with a large stack :) by no means up to date though!
I have lots of albums and the idea originally was to just stick them in, in order, but then when I think about it I might want nice books, all the same size roughly. In fact I love the old fashioned type of album where you use corner holders and there are sheets of tissue between each page. That is what my childhood album was like that my parents first kept. So that makes it a question of financial means, it’s a bit of a frivolous investment right now!
Also I would like binders to hold all the negs. You can get binder pages that have the right size of slot for 35mm negs, since that’s the kind of camera we had.
Anyway if anyone has any insight into a cool way of going about this or doing it a different way please comment on this!
