- always being late for things, that is!
I never learn! Every morning I take my son to school, he has to be there by 08:55 yet we often get there at 09:05 and I have to sign him in as late. The school records that as an unauthorised absense, if the register has already been taken.. Not fair.
Often when I am organized in the mornings I somehow sabotage myself and still end up leaving the house at about 08:52. Ridiculous!
When I am late picking him up, say 15:40, they write something down, not sure what, maybe it’s just a record that the child went home safely. However, when I get there dead on 15:30, the teacher of his class keeps his class in until 15:35! WHAT?! How come they don’t get bad marks for not being ready on time? It’s only his class that gets out late, none of the others seem to – she doesn’t keep them in for bad behavior, she’s just disorganized which I can relate to. Still, if I can be on time I’d be grateful if I could take my son home right away.
