some little hats for Innocent Smoothies in aid of Help the Aged. I only knitted 3, but they were my first attempt at knitting in the round on 4/5 needles. I really enjoyed it actually, I adapted their pattern to do this and it worked out perfectly. I took a photo of them which is on my phone currently, but I’ll update here when I get chance. I posted them off a couple of weeks ago so hopefully they got there in time.

I've recently returned to knitting  — 1 year ago

I used to knit when I was pregnant with my first child, having learned when I was little. I made a lovely fishes cardigan, some red/yellow/green striped hat and booties, and a little all-in-one which I remember took forever in 2ply. I’ve been wanting to start knitting again for so long, and recently made a basic short scarf for my daughter, a ‘potato chip’ scarf for me and have just started a headband.

I want to brave knitting a sweater for myself at some point. It gets so expensive though, doesn’t it? :o
