Photography

I’ve actually made some progress on this one. I’ve taken a few weekends to local cemeteries and taken my camera with me to work, taking pictures on the way in. Not much interesting at work alas, but during the snow we had in Seattle, I did get some nice photos. And I took some downtown a few weeks ago when I was with a friend downtown. So while not doing as much as I’d like, I am doing some.

I like the digital camera but I’ve got a good film camera that’s not doing much. I’m trying to talk a friend into coming with me back to Mt. Pleasant next weekend. I’ll let her use my digital and I’ll take the old Rebel out for a spin.

I’d like to know if there’s the option of getting 35mm film developed and just put onto a cd, with out having prints done. My friend suggested York Photography.

Just want to do more of this. And I have. Went to an old cemetery in another neighborhood. Lived in this city for years, never knew it was there. But then I’ve never been to this part of the city. And it’s not small or far away, just never been there.

It’s a pretty cool, old – for Seattle – graveyard, lots of people from the last century. Got some good photos and then – alas! the batteries went dead in my camera! And I wasn’t dressed for it when the temperature dropped. But still I’m glad I got what I did and I’ll probably just go next week. I plan to go early enough and snap some of the neighborhood houses as well. Lots from the late 1900’s, early 20th century.
