It’s important not to waste time on things just because someone else asks for them.
My friend Donna Grainger always said, “I’ll pick my own charities”, and I think there’s great value to that.
When someone asks you to do something, it has to be a better use of time than anything else you could be doing with your life.
That is not an easy choice to make. It takes clear sight and some pre-planning. Also some backbone.
