I’m down to a size 14! Considering that I was pretty much a size 22 last year, I think I’ve done well. Yay, me! If I do as well in 2007 as I did in 2006, I’ll be a size 8 by this time next year. :-)

And I think I’ve lost around 40 pounds since January. I haven’t been eating all that well but I’m “lucky” enough to have thyroid issues that have kept me losing weight each month. I’m trying to eat better but it’s hard.
I’m not complaining, though. At least I’m losing, right?
I’m down another 5 or so. I’ve been eating yogurt every day – the television told me it will help me lose weight :)
I find it rather filling, as well, which helps.
And I’m finally recovered sufficiently (from surgery) to work out again, so I’ve been doing that, and it feels good to get back into it.
I’m starting to wonder if I should place so much importance on an exact weight. Because while weight-wise I’m not down much, I’ve been losing inches consistently and I’ve dropped a dress size in a month.
I might change this goal. I used to be a size 8. I’d like to get back to that. I’m in a 16 now, so . . . yeah. I think I can get there.
Technically, I HAVE lost 75 pounds. Unfortunately, I’ve also gained 80.
I just had my gallbladder ripped out, though. I couldn’t eat for a week. I lost 6 pounds in five days. Yay, me!
Not that I recommend removing an internal organ as a means of weight loss. But at least I haven’t gained those 6 pounds back. That’s something.
