But based on Wolf’s suggestion, I should at least have a live CD which I can use…
But also, it would probably be good for me to install a Linux system and learn how to configure it (such as adding devices to my system).
Things to do:- Burn a live CD from http://www.ubunto.com or http://www.knoppix.org
- Go through http://www.linuxfromscratch.org
- Go through prerequisites including: Software-Building-HOWTO http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Software-Building-HOWTO.html
- The Linux Users’ Guide http://www.linuxhq.com/guides/LUG/guide.html
- The Essential Pre-Reading Hint http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/hints/downloads/files/essential_prereading.txt
- Look for other how-to’s and educational sites
- Try Fedora again, using the latest available from the website
