I will have a deposit by June next year. It’s taken me about 6 years to scrimp and save for this. I need to check my credit rating and also start checking out what’s out there. My friends have suggested shared ownership but I’m not sure if I’m too happy with all the restrictions on selling. I know you’re not allowed to have a lodger for example.

I’ve been looking at estate agents online and the prices in East London for a 2 bedroom flat are around £150,000 – £200,000. So I’m not sure how I can really afford this yet.
