I’m on Day 12. I drink water and tea now, and I don’t really miss the fizz. That’s shocking, considering how much soda I used to drink.
My strategy has been to switch to diet soda, then decide that I could do without artificial sweeteners, since they might be bad for me.
I deal with the afternoon caffeine headache with a small piece of chocolate. I think it’s a placebo, but I’ll take the few extra calories for now if it makes my head feel better.
I set a reminder on 43 Things (nice feature!) for a month from today. If I’m still soda-free by then, I’ll mark this done.
