IE kind of sealed its own fate when Microsoft decided to stop improving upon it (aside from issuing countless security updates) and instead let it remain stagnant. I guess they weren’t anticipating that eventually, somebody was going to come up with the genius concept of building a better web browser and hence, threatening to take them down.
And now we have IE 7 which is supposed to include tabbed browsing, RSS support, inline search, and better support for CSS. Big whoop. Opera and Firefox already do this, and Internet Explorer doesn’t seem to be bringing anything new to the table to make former IE users who switched to Firefox or Opera switch back.
