I’m playing a lot more these days. It’s good medicine for the soul, and it helps me connect with people.

I’ve started playing via live stream on SecondLife, using NiceCast to send the stream and GarageBand as a mixer. The shows have been well received, which strikes me as odd. It’s hard to play to a “live” audience that actually hears you 2 minutes later, but I’m getting the hang of it.

One thing that’s helping is that I have a new guitar to play, thanks to some generous friends. I’m now traveling with a Taylor C-310, which is about the sweetest sounding acoustic guitar I’ve ever played.
