live in San Francisco

So, I still love this place. I love it even better when I’ve gotten sleep. :) However, I was reading last month’s issue of San Francisco Magazine, and it had a story on “What People Make”, salary wise. I think still the biggest downfall is the median “home” price is still greatly disproportionate (word?) to the salaries. Although I did find out one thing. I gotta get a job as CEO of E-bay, or Yahoo, or some major company. I thought 100,000/year was bank. Pennies to those people!!!

I’m in San Francisco this week, and I love it. HOWEVER, on one of my favorite topics of real estate, I went to look at a 1 br 1 ba right behind haight street, and it was going for 399,000. Hmmm… Okay, I know the real estate is crazy, and if there is a place in the world where that is not outrageous, please let me know! So, if I wanted to live here, I would probably be renting for a while before I started making $100,000/year. Whew… Not that I’m going to be negative and exlude the possibility. I’m just saying there will have to be some work to get from here to there. :)
