Let’s see how long this lasts. I got a bunch of stuff out of the closet. I’m not sure how I want to store belts and scarves. Or my bags and purses and such. Cause I have even more in the basement…
I want to see if I can keep the closet clean like this for a week. That shouldn’t be too hard since everything fits and its only things I wear. If I do keep it for a week, I will try to go for longer. I will try to get rid of a few more items. Then I’d like to redesign my closet. Put in shelves, make sure that there’s going to be room for the future washer and dryer, and maybe some built in sliding drawers or something. I’ve been wanting to do this for about a year.

My closet. Its huge. I replaced the doors with a curtain because the closet was so huge, you could only get to a little of it at a time when there were doors. I think its something like 8 feet long and almost 3 feet deep. Curently it is filled with clothes that don’t fit. I’m working on that, trying to lose weight. But my closet needs more attention than that.
Obviously, the dresser just doesn’t work. I’d like to replace it with cube shelves. Eventually, (and hopefully) we’re planning to put our stackable washer and dryer in there. I keep breaking hangers. Some of my shoes are too big for the hanging shoe storage. I have too many shoes to fit in the handing shoe storage.
Several times in the last year, I have gone through my clothes, donated large boxes of clothes that do not fit and packed away clothes that do not fit that I just can’t get rid of. Today I plan on doing that again. And moving the clothes that I don’t and haven’t worn in the last year into the closet of the extra bedroom to really get them out of the way. I need to get very serious about removing clothes that do not fit. I waste tons of time and end up getting really upset after grabbing something from the closet and finding that it doesn’t fit or isn’t flattering. The clothes that I do wear will be all that can stay in the closet after today. Here we go…
