I want to do exercise three times a week. But I’m always so busy that it ends up being friday, saturday, sunday (usually power youga, walking and pilates). I wonder whether it makes it less effective somehow. At least I have tons of energy on Mondays, that’s good.



Pilates is fantastic 4 years ago

Took a pilates class in Jericho last Sunday. It was a community center and basically it was all old ladies, apart from my friend and me. The movements were small and controlled – easier to grasp than yoga, which I’ve done a lot of on and off, but much more challenging to actually get right.

However, after the first session, the tiny yet annoying pain in my back went away, and I had incredible amounts of energy. I will DEFINITELY go back – and besides, the insights about core muscles and breathing made my yoga class today easier to handle.

Since the weather’s been great I’ve been taking walks too… I have great tools: shades, umbrella, hiking shoes, iPod with audiobook. Seriously, I need this even for one hour. I have no patience.

GOALS: take two exercise classes a week. Take at least one one-hour walk each week.
