Bloody Life!!

It just gets in the way – stops me from doing all the things I want to do!!
Where am I…. well I have maintained a 4kg/9lbs weight loss.
This is a good thing – I am convinced that those kg/lbs are gone forever.
But now I need to do something to start shifting the weight again. I think the biggest thing that is getting in the way is my drinking.
My goals for this week are go to the gym everyday except sunday, and not to drink any wine.
We’ll see what impact that has and go from there!!!



Hmmm not much to report...

Well I still love my gym membership…. Im going at least 3 times a week – if not 6!!!

I ran for the first time today!! I’ve just been using the elliptical up until now (plus weights). But today I got on the treadmill and got jogging. I had a few false starts at the “couch to 5km” running plan, but hopefully this time I will stick with it!
It is definately easier running on the treadmill, so keeping that in mind, I am going to repeat each week. I will add in 5% incline the week that I repeat the plan.

I am still letting myself down with food – not that I eat badly. Just erratically. I can’t seem to get my head around breakfast… all of a sudden its 2.30pm and Im starving…

This week my goal is to eat something substantial before 10.30 am everyday. If I can achieve that, then another goal will be set…

Four Weeks....

.... since my last entry…. where does the time go?

Well I LOVE my gym, and I’ve been going 4 – 6 times a week. It just doesn’t seem like a hassle anymore – I actually want to go!!
I lost most of my weight in the first couple of weeks, and been stuck on 70kg for the last three weeks. But my BMI is under 30 now so Im very happy.
I will be happy to stay at 70kg for the next 2-3 weeks and then I need to get my arse into gear and start the scale moving.
Ive been reading all about interval training – so My body doesn’t get too comfortable with the exercise Im doing…..
man it can be so complicated.

Food Good - Exercise better!!

I went to the gym 5 times over the last week. I am now really motivated about getting to the gym. I am seeing a personal trainer once a week – he want to meet more, but I can’t really afford it to be honest.
My eating was finally good this week, Ive been making my own “subway” sandwiches – only 350 caloires. I do struggle to eat 1200 calories per day. I found a web site which explains how to cycle your calorie intake over the week so your body doesn’t get usse to it. So my calorie intake ranges from 1303 to 1563 – I really struggle to eat that much…. oh well maybe this week!!

spin is good!!

I have been going to spin class at least twice a week – my goal is to go four times a week, but I am still getting into the routine of having everything ready to go (i have to go to work straight after).
Ive lost 1.5kg (3lbs). My eating has been absoultely shocking. But that will all change this week – about to go and do my grocery shopping for the week. Just haven’t really been prepared with food.
Im kinda going to do a bit of the atkins thing again, where I really limit my carbs intake. Not quiet as full on as induction but really watching the carbs.

Height 5’2”
Start Weight 78kg / 172lbs
Current Weight 72.5kg / 160lbs
First Goal Weight 70kg / 154lbs
Weight Lost 5.5kg /12lbs

On My Way (again...)

First of all I started this goal just over 1 year ago, and I’ve lost 4kg (9lbs). I had lost 8kg (18lbs), but I have managed to put 4kg (9lbs) back on over the past 2 weeks…. I know I know thats a huge weight gain.
My partner and I decided that in order to relieve some stress in our lives we would just eat out for the three weeks that we were moving house and dealing with other stuff. Now we have to deal with the consecenses (sp?)....

I had my first day at the gym yesterday – I did a spin class…. and I loved it. My eating was ok as well.
My itinal plan now is spin three times per week and weights three times per week. It works out well with my work hours. I can go the the gym and then get ready for work and go from there.
I realise that nothing has really happened in the past because of lack of committment…. but then I have also been dealing with other areas of my life.
Now is the time to seriously deal with this area….

Im going to keep my old starting weight of 78kg (172lbs)

Going no where...

.... we are moving house this sunday, and i say thank-god!!
We moved all out crockery and cook ware last week, so we have been eating out for the last week – and will do it for another.

I absoultely can not believe that I haven’t put on weight!!! I have been working very hard at moving and cleaning, but still. I guess we haven’t been eating total shit….

So anyway monday the 29th of Jan is when i start to put it all back together and actually do some work towards this goal!!

I haven’t really re-implemented any of the good habits I need to lose weight over the past week. Went out to dinner three times, I have been doing my walks, and a little bit of yoga.
So I stayed the same, which I think is rather fantastic. I am doing a yoga class every tuesday morning now – which I hope will boost my at home practice. Also I think that Ive finally found someone that can climb with me on a weekly basis…. this is a very good thing because it will encourage my strength training aswell.



Christmas is over

Had the most fantastic chrissy ever!!! Ate really well, just drank more than planned…
Still at 70kg (154.3lbs), but I am happy with that. So it is time to begin again.

Walking and yoga, and reducing my alcohol intake…

One day later

While I know its not technically healthy – I do weigh myself everyday. I do it first thing in the morning, and I feel that it gives me a guide for the day. If I stayed the same weight then Im happy, will have a careful day. If i lost a little bit then again happy and won’t be too stressed about it all, if I gained a bit then it motivates me to get on top of my exercise again.
I’ve lost .8kg / 1.8lbs since yesterday – so I am now under 70kg YAH YAH YAH. This was a big hurdle for me, and I know its due to illness, but I am going to look on the bright side and just keep it off.
