Give 10,000 cheers

I’ve increased my rate of cheering – giving 100 in the last two weeks. Ive said it before, but I really love this goal because i find the most amazing entries and comments that inspire me to improve myself and have empathy for other people.
This site has definately made me a better person!!

Just gave my 999th cheer to bill the travelling salesman
and the 1000th to BetterRed.

Two people i constantly read and often relate two.

...what a long term goal this is. I seem to be giving about 100 cheers per month. I’ve given 810. So at the current rate this will take another 7 1/2 years!!

I actually think that is very cool!!!

The thing that ive gotten out of this goal so far is that I am much more willing to reply with comments, not just cheers. I love seeing other peoples insights on what Im doing – so its only fair that I return the favour!!

My last entry was “600 to go”.... yeh to 1000…. my goal is 10,000!!

So I’ve given about 600, so I’ve got 9400 to go.
Im certainly finding favorite people on here, people I always seem to come back to…. people so similar to me.

This goal has been much easier to achieve than I thought it would be….
Also I think that I have read some of the most interesting and insightful comments that I have ever read on the internet….
Everything here inspires me … Inspires me to work harder, to have more compassion, to be more understanding and more loving of myself.
I actually think that I will be sad when this goal is done!!

I was going to write an entry straight after giving my 300th cheer, but I got carried away cheering people with cool new goals that I lost track – so now Im at 305….
Im going to start writing more comments as well though – because I love hearing other peoples thoughts about my goals and progress. It definatley keeps me motivated!

Im having so much fun with this….
Finding out that Im not really that weird or strange – because there are other people here with the same goals / ideas.
Its also really interesting to see what other people cheer me back for…..
Also this site really has made me think about the world again – I really had switched off for a while!
