...maybe because of my birthday or work or something. Anyway I didn’t do the week 4 reading until the middle of week 4. This is meant to be a reading deprivation week which I wasn’t doing. Decided to just spend 2 weeks on week 3. Continued the daily pages and had an extra week 3 artist date.
I rediscovered the V& A museum which was fab! I remembered it as a boring place that my Grandad Ted used to drag me & my brother round in the school holidays. It was anything but boring- a real visual treat. I recommend it to everyone.
Slightly scared of the week with no reading, radio, internet, TV but I did it a few years ago and it was a really productive and interesting time. A bit like going on a retreat…. not that I’ve ever been on a retreat!

Doing my morning pages – haven’t skipped a day.
week 1 artist date I spent an afternoon wandering around a part of London I’m unfamiliar with & looking & exploring & taking photos.
Week 2 I bought a rabbit in the market (which I’ve never done before) & cooked a stew.
Week 3 will be difficult because I have very very little spare time….. I’ll have to get creative! Any suggestions?

I’ve tried & failed to complete this course twice now and I never filled in the contract before…....
I’m trying to do things different this time so here goes, even though it seems/ feels a bit stupid.
I, Joeyinthebush, understand that I am undertaking an intensive, guided encounter with my own creativity. I commit myself to the twelve week duration of the course. I, Joeyinthebush, commit to weekly reading, daily morning pages, a weekly artists date and the fulfillment of each weeks tasks.
I Joeyinthebush, further understand that this course will raise issues and emotions for me to deal with. I, Joeyinthebush, commit myself to excellent self- care—adequate sleep, diet, exercise and pampering.—for the duration of the course.

Went to see Louise Bourgeois at the Tate Modern with my folks & brother today. Saw a Banksy and had a great Vietnamese meal too.
I’m inspired. I’ve been doing morning pages for 3 days now & am craving more writing/creating exercise.
I’m determined to get through the whole thing this time & not grind to a halt around week 6 or 7
