Grow my hair out

I’m so pissed off with this right now
I’m actually addicted to dyeing it
I dont know what do do anymore

I realise I havent updated in a while but thats pretty much coz theres nothing to update. I think my hair was actually longer in my last entry 2 months ago :L

I’ve been trimming some of the layers to try and sort out the mess I’ve made of thinning it out, and its getting thicker and less-mushroomy now so thats something I suppose

I need to stop trimming it but its so hard :L

I think I’ve dyed it like 5 times since my last entry so that sums up how I’m doing on that front :L

It’s currently bright pinky red (yeah dont ask)
But I WILL dye it back to my natural colour and quit dyeing it soon.

I dyed my hair dark brown again :D
It’s only semi permanent, but the roots against the blonde were starting to look awful, and I wanted to feel like me again. I doubt itll fade back to being platinum again, but time will tell.
My hair actually feels softer after dyeing it, the bleach didnt do it any favors.
And I cut the longer side of my asymettrical so that both sides are now the same length to grow out. Was bugging me :L

Oh well, the pic shows how long it is at the front/side, compared to the first picture 2 months ago, its really come along to my eyebrows =)

Not much, but a little
I havent cut my hair since about a month. I know it doesnt sound like much but to the obsessed (me :)) it really is quite amazing. I have no intentions to cut it anytime soon, I’m determined to grow it out

I can already see about 1cms new regrowth. Most people hate it when their roots show through, but I love having roots because it shows me that despite my constant moaning of “My Hair. WHY WONT IT GROW??!” It actually is growing after all. Its not a big change, but I can already see in the length where its grown. I’m craving my natural hair color, I cant wait till its longer so I can feel more normal again after over a year of flitting between black, brown, blonde, red, ginger, blue and godknowswhatelse. Oh well, I’m feeling positive :)

Oh long swoopy fringe where DID we go wrong :(

I realise it’s only been a week since I last wrote an entry but I screwed up again :P

Washing my hair I tried drying it upside down with some product for volume. The front looked ok, but the back was like some kind of thick massive mullet, and I decided I needed to cut a few more layers into it, like “omg my hairs way too long layered at the back”

With not the best set up of mirrors (which ironically are covered in post it notes with reasons NOT to cut my hair) I took to cutting layers into the back, then when I checked it in daylight

oh god lets just say its a mess of tiny short layers with big chunks of parts missing that are REALLY thin and different shades of red

Urgh, I only cut the 1 side to begin with then I had to match the other side up to it as best as possible which was hell because I ncould see the length of it before from that side and it was really depressing cutting it away. But I can just about get away with it

On the plus side my hair feels smooth and healthy after 6 months of black to blonde to brown to blue to black to red yo-yo-ing.

But I can see a little rootage so that means it’ll grow I suppose
I have like OCD of the hair =/

So basically I used to have really long (for a guy, shoulder-ish length) hair, and a really long fringe/bangs in my natural brown colour. Then I got some dodgy haircuts :P

THEN I discovered hair dye and destroyed my hair within the space of 8 months ^{_^}

Since then it’s been every colour and length possible :)

My hairs in decent condition now, in red, but the cuts disasterous =/

1 sides VERY boy-short and lots of tiny stupid layers and the others less layered and longer, with my bangs swooping over in between, and much too short in the back =/

It looked decent a few days ago, but such is my spontaneous haircutting habits

But NOW I’m turning things around and I’m gonna bear the months of misbehaving layers and “mulletness”, and grow it out once and for all ^_

Of course, I’ll cut it better in the end, but for now I’m putting down the scissors and gonna ride it out :)
