Do the 10 Things in 10 days Challenge!

I reengaged myself with the Purpose Driven Life and joined a PDL book group for the journey this time around.

and since I want #10 to be great, I also picked up some pumpkins for the Pumpkin Carving contest …

... and I made plans to take my parents to lunch on Columbus Day (Monday) ...

...and I did significant wardrobe overhaul …

As a small gesture of Faith in my country, today I sent off a few small checks to some of the companies in which I personally hold stock that offer a dividend reinvestment program.

(There are literally hundred of companies in the United States for which programs are set up so that quarterly dividends are automatically reinvested to puchase additional shares. Most of these companies also offer the chance to invest additional funds, sometimes as low as $10 or $30, to purchase additional shares)

Today I sent off a few checks as a sign of faith in some of the companies in which I already hold shares.

I picked up my new mobile today and my ringtone for all calls is Coco Tea’s Barack Obama

the publication date listed when I ordered the Green Bible was 7 October, but here it is 8 October and there it was on the doorstep when I got home today

I added eBay To Go to my blog Black Tie and Flip Flops and there seem so be a correlation between items included on the eBay To Go widget and spikes in sales.

One of the cool things about the widgets is that it updates in real time – so if you check out the colorforms widget you will see that there are not not many things left for purchase (don’t worry, there are many more in transit via UPS). Versions of the widget promoting various parts of the business will appear weekly on the blog.

It’s a no cost promotion that may add to my bottom line – I highly recommend eBay to Go to any other eBay sellers who also blog.

I purchased a new battery for my camera so those times when the “real” battery is in the charger, I now have a back up.

I found a magnetic Ichthys and placed my order today. Photos of the Christian Fish, as well as the formal completion of that goal will be done once it arrives.

After getting a bit of work done this morning, and having the running faucet that is my nose turn off for a while, I went out and about and took some pictures of the local area. At least until I killed my camera battery.

This not only helped with my past goals of “take more pictures” and the current goal of “take pictures of 43 things of 43 places within 43 minutes of me” but it forced me to take a break from being indoors.

Tuesdays And Thursdays feedback score was just posted on Amazon.com and we have a 100% positive feedback rating. Woo Hoo!

The work to achieve this score was not done in the day, but the rewards of previous work was posted on the third day of the 10 things in 10 day challenge so what better place to declare it than in the number three slot of this goal.

I ordered a copy of the Green Bible using a $25 gift card I received from Wells Fargo as a part of the Check Card Rewards program there. The first copies are scheduled to ship 7 October and I am on the pre-order waiting list.
