duh!

I finally figured out the name of my house (fleur de lee)

And since it came with some Irises, I will be expanding the Iris beds and incorporating Iris and Fleur de Lis motifs where tastefully possible, including alongside the house number

the neighbors have been painting their house number on the curb in front of the house so that police and fire can find the house quickly : my thought if they hear gunshots, the police will know what house to enter, if they see flames, the firefighters will know which house to hose down, so in a move that is so blatantly elitist I am going to paint Roman Numerals on the curb this spring, it’s cheeky and will probably get a laugh from some of the other neighbors
