eBay is, and will continue to be, part of the business plan. With million of registered users it just makes sense to dangle some product out there and then woo them into the website where they will be much more profitable for me.
A fairly decent sized order of new merchandise will be delivered on Thursday – it just makes sense for me to get everything ready to go now so that all I need to do is hit the “launch” button when they arrive. Hopefully this will not cause too much of a delay with my website plans.

After doing a little bit of homework I found that the design of my site is awfully close to one that already exists. ARGH !
So I am reworking the site and submitting the changes to the designer. So I am not as close to going live as I had thought.
Argh !

I got to take my first peak at the site today and am impressed. Of course there are some changes that need to take place, but WOW, I am impressed and hope that I will be able to go live soon!

All of the details of my site are now in the hands, or at least the email in-box of my designer. I am sure that there will be questions but the ball is in the court of others.
Hopefully things are not so busy for him. I’d love to be live in a few weeks. Selling on eBay is, and will be, a part of the business strategy, but I finally realized that I had to sh&t or get off the pot.

Been having some issues getting the motivation to get this thing going and didn’t really understand why it was such an issue.
Duh John.
I was very proud of what I did with Basil & Roses and in large part even though I did the work, I considered it “our” company. This one is all mine, and in some ways I do feel a bit of infidelity breaking out on my own.
How much of a dork can I be ?

The logo from the last company I started is attached. That was actually the first thing that was created for the site. It was done my Kitty McGee of San Diego. www.Kittymat.com
This time around the logo is going to wait, I will be using an interesting font to start – the inner workings of the site are the focus now.
Let’s see how long it takes to get my butt in gear on this one.
