# 95 A Jetrosexual Magazine  — 1 year ago

I found a copy of Jetrosexual magazine on eBay. Actually I have a copy in storage in San Diego just to prove that it is a real thing. It’s such a goofy word, but then again, “Virgin Atlantic” does raise a few eyebrows amongst those who do not travel much.

# 100 Beginnings And Ends  — 1 year ago

I love endings that are the beginning of something else. The end of Winter signals Spring. The end of the work week signals the start of the weekend. The end of my marriage means I can start to freely flirt with women from Cape Town, or Oklahoma, or Paris, or all of the above. This end of the continent means I can start to look forward to sunrises instead of sunsets.

And since I finished the 100 things about me goal, and have had a great deal of fun with it, I am going to compile a list of 100 more things about me. That’s right. More strange and interesting posts from me as I try to figure me out.

I usually don’t like to use an image with people in them (unless I’m writing about that person or their cheerleaders givign virtual cheers) but I thought that this image was perfect, is the door opening? closing?

# 99 Pear And Gorgonzola  — 1 year ago

This is by far my most favoritest (yes, another word that I created that should be in the dictionary but is not) pizza. I have had it at a few bistros and found it at the Trader Joe’s in Carmel Mountain Ranch in San Diego. Alas it is not available at Trader Joes here. Surprisingly it was frozen pizza from Italy – who knew they shipped frozen food from Italy?

Sweet Pears, Savory Gorgonzola. YUM!

# 98 Stupid other goals really annoy me  — 1 year ago

Just above the place to write entries about this goal is the “People doing this are also doing these things” area.

Once again I find myself in some really interesting company. The things other people want to do are : Give Roadhead, Go Joy Riding, Take Speed.

Give Roadhead – have you not seen “The World According To Garp??” (many of the exterior shots for that film were shot at Rutgers University, but I digress) Dammit – it was bitten off. Stupid Goal Don’t Do It!

Go Joy Riding – hello – this is the Bush era, never ever piss off the rich WASPS. NEVER! They’ll claim you are part of the “Kayda” and imprison you without a trial.

Take Speed – here again, its the Bush era, they’ll send you to Cuba without a trial.

How do I always seemed to find myself in such company !

# 96 HUH ?  — 1 year ago

The burning question I always have is regard to figuring myself out.

I’m part introvert, part extrovert.

Part couch potato, part over achiever.

Part gourmand, but sometimes junk food is nirvana.

So many contrasts, so many conflicting sides of me. So complex.

Pass me a valium….

# 95 Jetrosexual  — 1 year ago

I love this word. First time I saw it was on an Advert for Virgin Atlantic Airlines.

The whole Metrosexual thing is not for me. I don’t care how many Manicures and Pedicures Becks gets, its just not my thing. BUT, I really do appreciate a high thread count sheets and dinner on formal china. (James Bond likes these things too)

Anyhow, travel, and experiencing other places, even if it means cooking some really interesting dishes, are my passions. So a Jetrosexual I am.

# 94 eBay  — 1 year ago

I really enjoy finding unusual or hard to get items on eBay.

eBay is a part of my business strategy so I do have the ability to pop on and off eBay several times a day, so it makes it quick fun to find really kewl things.

# 93 Fish Outta Water  — 1 year ago

I’m a fish out of water here in New Jersey. My priest has said this twice (actually not those exact words but a variation on the same theme). In many ways I think this is good for me, I’m not going to settle for the Jersey lifestyle (people who are “into” sports watch them on TV instead of participating in them). There’s also a pervassive attitude of ‘this is my life, I was born into it, and that’s the way it is’ – it’s like Upstairs Downstairs performed by the Sopranos.

This is good. I have tasted life and want to drink more. I need to heal, regroup, sharpen the saw and after a while take life for such a ride that they’ll have to sell tickets for it!

But for now I’m okay being the fish out of water.
