I got the call that there were books for pick up at the library, I took a stack of books and things to return with me. When I got to the library I realized that I had not put any post-its into the books for others to find.

I’m wondering if I should seek help.

Perhaps I will leave that question in some library books, and in a month or so take out the same book and see if anyone replied.

So I’m in the library picking up the book I requested and found myself grabbing two of the featured books just so I can return them with post-its inside.

I’m addicted.

This is what happens when you don’t have a narcotic problem.

I have to get my act together on this one  — 1 year ago

Instead of waiting until I return books to the library, I have to do it when I find quotes and get books. (I have to make sure I put a date on them too – it would be cool to find a post it that was several years old. Perhaps I should take out some not so popular books, non-bestsellers and such, so I can “hide” post its for several months or years)

I just checked out a few copies of Mere Christianity (there are varied forwards, commentaries etc that I would like to read in each copy) and upon returning them they will contain this C.S. Lewis quote. Perhaps not as loving as the goal intends, but rather a quote that shows so many people that they are not alone, and what could be more loving than that.

Books, not CDs  — 1 year ago

Leaving notes in library books works, in CDs and DVDs doesn’t (they are discovered when you return the CD and are removed) – must find another place to leave them in addition to library books.
