I’ve been speaking to my mom in Spanish quite often lately. I’m not the best, but just practicing it like it’s a normal thing and not “study time” really helps my mind. Incorporating little phrases by substituting them for English has helped substantially. Like, instead of saying, “I think so”, I say, “Creo que si”. I’ve been learning the imperfect tense and preterit. Also, present progressive and commands. It’s so fascinating. All I can say is that if you want to improve…just act like it’s a normal thing. Find someone that already speaks fluently and just talk about normal things. Not “Do you like cheese?” (unless you just watched “She’s the Man”)
