I’m still going, although I am a little behind. I’m enjoying having a set program to do, which means I don’t have to think about what I’m going to do when I get to the gym and also I feel bad if I miss too many days because I get further behind. I found it hard work this morning but I knew I could manage it if I just kept going and during the 3rd set I felt more in the ‘zone’ so to speak.
I got behind a bit but I’m catching up now. The 20 mins (1 min walk, 4 mins run) was tough this morning, and I was hurting when I finished. I’m determined to finish this programme though and be able to run 5k.
Well, I failed to run in the rain yesterday, but I caught up this morning before work so I’m back on track. Got a session to fit in tomorrow and then a long walk at the weekend which should be possible as P’s M&D are visiting and will bring the dog who loves to walk :-)
Well, yesterday was a rest day so I managed that ok :-) Now I have to cycle home and then do the next 20 min section in the rain before heading to hockey training. A real test!
20 mins – 1 min walk, 1 min jog. Managed this last night, got as far as the walkway before the railway bridge – about a mile and a half according to gmaps pedometer. Wasn’t too hard, but had to try to keep going and was tired afterwards. Pleased I went though.
