I don’t really have a problem calming down, I’m pretty laid-back, but my brain is constantly going. I think this is why I talk all the time, it’s because I’m always thinking about something else.
I’ve realized though, that this sort of perpetual multitasking takes a toll on my productivity. Trigonometry homework takes much longer when half of my brain is reviewing last night’s episode of Monk. I feel that meditation would help me focus on just the task at hand, and thus boost my productivity, which will be important if I am to do well in college.
I also have hopes that meditation will improve, or help me to improve, my life overall.
