Time Machine
Today I finally got around to setting up time machine to backup my MacBook. I’m using a NAS drive to store my backups – since non-local disks aren’t supported by default it took the following preference change in the terminal:
defaults write com.apple.systempreferences TMShowUnsupportedNetworkVolumes 1
The seamlessness of being able to set it and forget it was a big reason I was excited to upgrade to Leopard. I’ll give it a week and see how well it works.
