move to Australia

Hi everyone, i’m a scotsman marrying an aussie girl next year and we have to put our ‘prospective marriage’ visa application in soon…does anyone have any experience of this visa and esp application times?? I’m a wee bit worried it drags on and messes up wedding plans! On the plus side i’m moving to adelaide woohoo!!!!
