I have had no time to go on the internet lately, because of my workload. But weekends, it’s 5-8 hours. Yeah, that sounds insane and scary, even to me as I’m typing this. I’m going to start timing, and clean out my ‘addiction sites’ from my bookmarks. Also, I will put a seperate folder into my bookmarks called: ‘visit only once a week’ for sites that I don’t really need to visit.

I’ve been spending less time online becuase now I have an 8-hour school day again, but I haven’t actually improved. Just look at the three hours I’ve spent already—and all the homework I have to do.
I’m going off when I finish writing my 43Things entries, but I do find it ironic that by spending time here, I haven’t actually completed any of the things I have listed.
I am an internet addict and ashamed of it. I can spend over 8 hours online, and log off without having done a thing. It’s really taking over my life.
I’d like to download an online timer, and there are thousands out there, but my dad is very suspicious of free internet downloads. If anyone has such a timer and is positive it doesn’t come with any spyware/viruses attached, PLEASE tell me about it!
My other plan of attack is identifying 100 things to do instead of being on the Web. I’ll use the list whenever my online timer shuts off my browser window.
Good plans, eh?
Now, if only I could get myself to press a certain red button on my Start menu…
