Wow! A lot of use of the backspace key already!!
I definitely need to start typing like this more often. It would make work and surfing so much easier. And when writing poetry, I could just close my eyes and type, rather than trying to locate all the right keys.
I’m think I’m getting the hang of it now… Let’s see if I can type up a poem without pressing the backspace key…

Pfft. That was supposed to be a verse from Amazing Grace. I still have far to go…
It’s because I don’t bother keeping my fingers on the “home row.” I find that very restricting and uncomfortable. I just put them anywhere and let them press keys by chance. Obviously not a particularly efficient or correct way to learn, but at least it explains all these mistakes.
My delete key has never gotten so much attention in its life…
Let’s try typing once again and see if there’s any improvement:

Umm.. not really.
So there. One of my first attempts. It was so bad it’s not even funny. I have a big problem with the home row. And the one above. Come to think of it, I have a big problem with every row. But in a few weeks, I believe I’ll get it.
That was fun.
