I have had the balance in my creditcard for the longest time. I am not paying the minimum but a little extra to make it go down a little faster. But everytime I check the balance its like I am just knocking off what few dollars here and there. With the interests going up I need to these cards off soon. It would be suicide for me to wait until next year to pay it off. Since all the buzz is going on about raising the minimum payment and the interest rates for credit cards I will go nuts. Maybe I should call them and ask them to lock my rates or get a lower rate? Can I do that?
