i’m in my first semester at case, in cleveland, and right now i’m a math major – but none of my classes are fulfilling for me at all. i’m really tired of the school setting, because i feel like our educational system is fully centered around making us good laborers, which isn’t the kind of education i want. i’m not enjoying school – not because i don’t like learning, i love learning – but because this isn’t the kind of education i want. i want to learn about.. life? there’s nothing i want to do right now but move somewhere, work, drink, smoke, have great sex, and figure out how to spend my life. it’s really difficult for me, because my parents both want me to do medicine or engineering or something science-y and well paying, and there’s not much i can do since they’re paying for me to go to school. if anyone has any advice at allll, i’m ready to listen. =/
