I just bought the M-audio Keystation pro 88 for ~350 USD which is a keyword and works with my macbook pro. This piece of equipment is much cheaper than buying a wooden piano or an electronic piano with its own sound system, provided you have a computer (Mac or PC)
I started by watching some online tutorials on Youtube and borrowing some guidebook from the library. I always take advices from my roommate who plays piano.
Things are going slowly but it is surely in the right direction. I hope I can play it well within a year.
