Be a better friend

I was at my local scrapbook store today .. and with two girlfriends on my mind, I picked up things that I thought they would like.

Though .. I didn’t buy anything for myself!

My girlfriend stopped by my house today and said .. pop in after you drop your daughter at preschool.

My first thoughts were about all the things I could get accomplished with a two hour period of time without a child under foot.

My second thought was .. I deserve friend time.

I need to do this more often. I walked away with a smile on my face and my head held high. What an awesome way to start my morning.
